  • Step 2: Get in Touch

    Our dedicated staff will be delighted to provide you with more details about the program and arrange a Startcheck session.
    Startcheck is a simple assessment conducted by the head of each department to evaluate your current musical skills, and it’s free of charge.

  • Step 3: Startcheck and Consultation
    Attend a Startcheck session, where you will have the opportunity to showcase your musical abilities and engage in a discussion with the department head.
    This session will help us better understand your musical goals and ensure the right fit for your journey.

  • Step 4: Application Form

    If you pass the audition and interview, you will be sent an application form.
    Fill out the form with the necessary information and return it to us.

  • Step 5: Ready to Begin
    Once we receive your completed application form, you’re all set to embark on your musical journey with our professional program.
    Get ready to immerse yourself in an enriching and rewarding experience.

Requirements

To fully engage in the program, basic requirements include being over 16 years old and having proficiency in both English and German.
While the primary language of instruction is German, certain classes or sessions may be conducted in English, especially when taught by international instructors. For detailed information on specific instrument requirements, please choose your instrument.

¹20 Weekend Classes:

All tiers participate in the same 20 weekend sessions. Basic and Pro students attend in-person and have full live stream and on-demand recording access for every session. Online students participate exclusively via live stream and on-demand.

Within two weeks after each in-person weekend, we offer you a great opportunity to participate in interactive webinars with your instructor. These webinars are designed to create a supportive learning environment where you can further explore concepts, gain deeper insights, and receive personal guidance to ensure your understanding and progress.

Upon graduation, you will receive exclusive access to ongoing online seminars and masterclasses, allowing you to continue expanding your knowledge and stay connected with our vibrant community.

The Professional Studio Recording Session is held during one of your 20 weekend residencies, not an additional session.

If you aspire to teach music professionally, this certificate gives you far more than a qualification. To teach well, you must first understand how people learn. Applied Learning Design gives you exactly that foundation. The Level 3 Certificate is part of the UK’s National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and regulated by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation in England. It is recognized internationally.

Online students are welcome to join the Professional Studio Recording Weekend and Graduation Showcase in person at our Aschaffenburg campus. Participation is optional and subject to availability.
