Sebastian Berg is a professional live & studio drummer, lecturer, and graduate of the Professional Program.

Sebastian Berg graduated from the Professional Program in 2011. Subsequently, he deepened his training at the Drummers Institute in Düsseldorf, where he graduated at the top of his class. He also studied drums at the Institute for Music in Osnabrück to raise his theoretical and practical skills to an academic level.

Sebastian’s experience as a live and studio drummer

Since 2021, Sebastian has been the drummer for the internationally successful rock band Kissin’ Dynamite. His career is characterized by extensive international tours and work in professional studio environments. He has established himself in the scene as a reliable and technically versatile musician who combines the energy of large stages with the precision of studio work.

Teaching, Philosophy, and Practical Application

In addition to his active career as a performer, Sebastian has been passing on his knowledge as a drum instructor for many years. He teaches students of all ages and skill levels. His teaching philosophy is closely linked to the reality of the music business: he combines sound professional technique and musical understanding with valuable practical tips from everyday life on tour and in the studio.

Patrick Fa is one of the best drummers and musical directors in Germany. Kelly Rowland, Natasha Bedingfield, Anastacia, Shaggy and Nicole Scherzinger have already stood on stage with him.

Stephan Zender has been with the Modern Music School since 1990. After his pedagogy studies, he went to LA to study drums at the LA Music Academy. Here, he had lessons with legendary coaches like Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Mark Schulman. Since many years he's touring with the tribute band Mytallica around the world.
